Families in the U.S. continue to want to adopt Mexican dogs. Dog Angel, Joe Howell, recently filled that demand. In April 2024 Joe transported 61 dogs to U.S. with 5 dogs from Rosey’s Wish network. And in July 2024 Joe transported 64 dogs to U.S. and Canada with 15 dogs coming from Rosey’s Wish network.
We held a fund-raising event in 2023 supported by friends and family. With the proceeds from this event, we sponsored three free spay-neuter clinics in the outskirts of San Miguel. Dog and cat owners who were not able to afford surgery lined up with their pets to take advantage of these free clinics. In total we were able to successfully neuter 150 dogs and cats.
