Donna Lynes Miller – Co-Founder and Treasurer – Mexican AC

Donna moved to SMA in 2018 and found herself neighbors with Kiko; a meeting of two dog lovers. Their first project was a series of 3 free spay neuter clinics. Afterwards they decided to formalize Rosey’s Wish by forming a 501(c)(3) in the US and an A.C. in Mexico. Donna has 20 years experience with non-profits as President of 3 supply chain cooperatives for Arby’s, Church’s and Popeyes restaurants. She has rescued 17 Borzoi over 40 year period. He is a hands-on consultant with all matters relating to legal, government and banking requirements. Pictured is Cacho with Rocco and Bella, rescued pugs from Rosey’s Wish network.

Joe Howell – President – US 501(c)(3)

While Joe has always been a dog lover, rescuing dogs became Joe’s passion upon moving to Mexico in 1998.  Joe started transporting dogs north of the border, to Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, then to California, across Canada. He has also helped bring dogs from Peru and Afghanistan to new homes. Joe drives the transport strategies for Rosey’s Wish, and actively helps dogs through his network of contacts across Mexico, the US and Canada.  By plane, by bus, or by car, thousands of dogs have been transported to their forever homes by Joe.

Joe believes there is a solution to every challenge, given energy and passion.  He spent most of his work career living in the Pacific Northwest, working in global advertising and communications, managing teams and customers around the world.

Doug Guthrie – Treasurer – US 501(c)(3)

Doug is from Atlanta GA and is a retired executive from the medical manufacturing field. He enjoys philanthropic work including Feed the Hungry and celebrating birthdays at Rosario Castellanos, a local kindergarten. Doug has worked diligently at all Rosey’s Wish’s events including a fundraiser and 3 free spay neuter clinics. As our 501(c)(3) Treasurer, he oversees all activity with Go Fund Me and banking. His dog passion is for the Beagle as he has owned 4 over the years. Pictured is Doug with 2 rescue puppies.
