Dulce and Chico
head to Iowa
The Rescue Express bus is an initiative supported by Rosey’s Wish. Dogs from Jalisco and Guanajuato make the journey each quarter to new homes north of the border. In November, Dulce and Chico from San Miguel joined The Rescue Express and were delivered to their forever homes in Iowa. We also partner with local rescues to support the transport of dogs by air to the US and Canada.
The Red Bus Project
Families in the U.S. continue to want to adopt Mexican dogs. Dog Angel, Joe Howell, recently filled that demand. In April 2024 Joe transported 61 dogs to U.S. with 5 dogs from Rosey’s Wish network. And in July 2024 Joe transported 64 dogs to U.S. and Canada with 15 dogs coming from Rosey’s Wish network.
